From source to result, locally.
Local speech, transcription and conversion do not require uploading audio to a Sonano cloud inference service. You decide what to save, export or share.
- Scripts and recordings
- Local models process input on your Mac. When you choose an external Text AI service, relevant text may be sent to the provider you configure.
- Voice assets
- Factory, designed and cloned voices can be reused from your local library. You need the appropriate rights for cloned or imported material.
- Generated results
- Audio, subtitles and other artifacts enter the shared results and history system, ready for playback, editing, saving and export.
Prepare models once. Run them locally.
The app, runtime and model weights are managed separately. A normal app update does not automatically clear model caches or your work.
- Model weights
- Downloading requires a connection to the model source. Once prepared, downloaded local models can run offline.
- Storage
- Inspect storage for models, runtime, voices and artifacts in Settings. Manage each category without treating every file as interchangeable.
- Cleanup and retention
- Existing work is not disposable temporary data. Review the category and related content before cleanup; updating and uninstalling are different actions.
Know what has run.
The app and agents use the same jobs and artifacts. Progress, results and meaningful external calls can be inspected from the workspace.
- Jobs and history
- Inspect completed, failed and canceled jobs, locate the corresponding audio or subtitles and reuse results.
- Request audit
- Meaningful API / agent calls can record the caller, endpoint, request identifier and result status locally.
- Local access
- The service listens locally by default. Protected interfaces require same-user local authentication, while host file permissions still govern access to external media.

Offline inference, purchases, downloads and external services have different boundaries. Prepare your models and understand the features you enable.
Purchases and license checks
Purchases, initial activation and license recovery need a connection. A website Pro license supports up to 14 offline days after a successful check; Mac App Store purchases follow the store’s rules.
Text AI you choose to use
External text services can assist with scripts or transcript cleanup. Relevant text is handled according to the provider and configuration you choose, with separate fees and terms.
Website, email and support
Website visits, license emails and support use the relevant network services. See the privacy policy for providers, retention and requests.
Voice creation still depends on rights and consent. Sonano Pro does not grant rights to someone else’s voice or replace model and source-material licenses. Check the applicable terms before using cloned voices, designed voices or exported results.
